How FIVE is making a difference
Independent Voter Network (IVN)
FIVE conducts research and outreach campaigns to help educate voters about their election rights. As part of this mission, FIVE funds the Independent Voter Network (IVN), a news organization focused on providing information to and fostering communication between independent-minded voters, public officials, civic leaders, and journalists so they can participate in the news cycle by publishing directly to IVN.
Purpose of IVN
The purpose of IVN.us is to provide unfiltered political news and policy analysis across the political spectrum. Unlike traditional media, IVN actively encourages writers and readers of differing political tendencies to engage in a constructive dialogue.
IVN established and operates according to four clear Etiquette Guidelines, which all editors, contributors, and participants must respect:
1. No Personal Attacks
2. No Self-Promotion
3. Sources must be Substantiated
4. No Partisan-Based Attacks
